Welcome to my World

Post Numero Uno

This  BLOG is hopefully going to become another vehicle to "deliver" info and photos of my crafting passion (obsession).  lol.
Just in case you swing by this blog and wonder what the %^&^*@#$(^!!!!  this blog is supposed to be about, let me introduce you  . . .to me . . . .

My name is Tonia.  I live in Tasmania, Australia
I was born in the 60's when bakelite was replaced with plastic and imperial measurement was replaced with metric.
I fell in love in the late 70's. Married/ had kids in the 80's. Survived teenagers in the 90's.
I became a MIL during the 00's and  my latest joy has been becoming a GRANDMA (twice so far) in the 10's.
I LOVE MY LIFE!!!

I also love chinaware, preloved chinaware, to be acurate. My passion is to give mismatched chinaware  that I source locally a little makeover so that they are transformed from bric-a-brac into unique and useful pieces of table ware,  ready to be loved once more.
I get a real buzz from creating one off, 2 and 3 tiered high tea stands/cupcake stands, and teacup stands from start to finish. First up by choosing co-ordinated pieces, drilling them by hand and then finally assembling them into newly created high tea/cupcake stands and teacup stands.  I then put them up for sale at markets, fairs and online via my FACEBOOK page of the same name:

Call by often, put me in your favourites and   I will endevour to learn fast how to use this blog site so  that you can come along for the ride . .  . . . . .

Happy Days
 Tonia :)
